Marina Bentata de Skornicki, Attorney
Marina Bentata de Skornicki is an attorney with more than twenty years experience in the areas of transactional, corporate, insurance and intellectual property law, including trademark and copyright infringement. She has represented several leading multinationals in South and North America, Europe and Japan. More recently, in the United States, Ms. Bentata has worked in the area of estate planning.
Ms. Bentata was a name partner in the Venezuelan law firm of Bentata Gascue & Associates, and later started and served as the managing partner of Bentata Asesores Internacionales. During her twenty-plus year career, Ms. Bentata has assembled an extensive network of legal affiliates throughout Latin America, enabling her to provide legal services throughout that region.
Ms. Bentata has two juris doctor (J.D) degrees, from Universidad Católica Andres Bello in 1987 (Caracas, Venezuela) and Nova Southeastern University in 2005 (Ft. Lauderdale, Florida). She also obtained a masters of law (LL.M) degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1993 (Caracas, Venezuela). Ms. Bentata is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida and in Venezuela.
